ASK Scientific is a VAT registered business and will charge VAT for any work undertaken for clients based in the UK and EU. However, if you are based within the EU and give us your VAT number, you will not be charged VAT. UK-based organisations will still be charged VAT, which can be reclaimed when filing your VAT return. Organisations based outside the UK and EU will not be charged VAT.
On completing a project, we return two documents to you: one containing ‘tracked changes’, highlighting all changes that we have made. You can use this document to compare the original text with the new edited version. In the second document these changes will be accepted.
Times vary depending on the number of words and the type of service you select. We will inform you of the number of days following payment processing.
Bank transfers: We require payment in British Pounds. Your bank will be able to convert your local currency into GBP, and make payment.
Credit Cards and Bank Cards: You will be billed in your local currency.The amount that you pay will depend on the exchange rate of the Pound (GBP), with your currency, at the time you make payment.
PayPal: PayPal accepts a number of different currencies. The amount that you pay will depend on the exchange rate of the Pound (GBP), with your currency, at the time you make payment.
Once you upload your manuscript you will be shown payment options. Please select the appropriate option to process payment:
Credit Cards and Banks Cards: We accept all major credit cards. Selecting this option will guide you through the payment process.
Bank transfer: If you select this option you will receive an invoice containing our bank account details. Please contact your bank and provide details of our Bank account number (UK transactions) or IBAN and BIC (international transactions) to make the payment. Once you receive payment confirmation please scan and send it to us so that we can begin working on your manuscript.
PayPal: If you select this option you will be transferred to the PayPal website to make payment. However, selecting PayPal will incur an extra 5% charge to cover payment processing costs.
Once you have selected your desired service, you will see an option to upload your files.
