Comet Ison is likely to be visible in the Northern Hemisphere on December 3rd.
Claimed to be one of the most spectacular sightings of a comet for a generation, Ison will pass through the Corona of the sun. When it emerges it may have a spectacular tail! However it’s unclear whether the comet will survive its encounter with the sun.
